As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and responders, and deliver customer service with professionalism. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and telecom location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by post orders, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or tailgating.
  • Complete accurate reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
