Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a secure environment within a government location. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and providing exceptional customer service. By remaining visible and engaging with visitors and staff, you will play a key part in maintaining order and supporting the overall mission of the site, while upholding our values of integrity and teamwork. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Thur 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
Monitor individuals entering the premises to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Communicate with visitors and staff in a professional manner while conducting screening activities.
Document and report any suspicious activity or incidents according to company and site protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and/or site management.
