As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will make routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests and tenants with friendly customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, storefront corridors, loading areas, and parking lots, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or hazards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, lost children, and/or customer disputes, and request additional resources when needed.
• Monitor access points and key activity areas, assist with traffic and/or pedestrian flow during busy periods, and help to deter loitering and other prohibited behavior in accordance with site policy.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and observed conditions, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
