As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, amenities, and parking areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to resident questions with professional customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly, and report concerns promptly. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout residential buildings, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and common areas, assisting with visitor check-in expectations, parking guidelines, and community rules as directed by post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying Allied Universal leadership and/or local authorities when needed.
• Complete detailed reports, incident logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate notable conditions and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
