As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will provide welcoming customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while supporting daily operations. Requirements
- Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years is required.
- 21+ Years of Age is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures and access control requirements at a financial services location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including perimeter checks, parking areas, and/or ATM or night depository surroundings as applicable.
- Monitor alarms, surveillance systems, and/or other security-related equipment; document observations and report unusual activity according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency responders when needed.
- Complete detailed reports on patrols, access activity, and incidents; maintain logs and communicate information during shift change to support continuity of operations.
