As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and communication skills will support a secure environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location.
Carry out regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, taking appropriate actions as needed.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials of personnel and visitors.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
Support emergency response activities as required, following Allied Universal protocols and client site guidelines.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations during each shift.
Communicate professionally with site staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management to address questions and/or concerns.
