As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flow, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and guests while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of assigned buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete detailed reports and log entries regarding patrol activity, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate updates during shift turnovers.
