As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, customers, and your Allied Universal team. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of lobbies, teller areas, ATM areas, offices, parking lots, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and direct employees and/or visitors according to site procedures.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations and security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
