As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related issues as they arise.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and to observe for any unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior within the location.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
