You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document activity, assist visitors and staff, and work with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in everything we do.
Requirements
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- A Private Investigator License unarmed is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate personnel when required.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Control access by checking identification, verifying authorization, and directing visitors and employees according to post orders and site procedures.
- Prepare clear, timely reports and complete required documentation, including shift logs, incident reports, and observations from patrols.
