About The Position

Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to support a secure environment, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR and first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities according to established protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents and/or activities during assigned shifts.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees and/or vendors while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Support access control procedures by observing entrances and exits and reporting any unusual activity.
Assist with emergency response drills and participate in ongoing training relevant to the technology, media and telecommunications environment.
