As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail or mall location, including both the business interior and perimeter.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control procedures and help to deter unauthorized entry or activities within the location.
Support Allied Universal management with incident documentation and communication as required by site protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance as needed to patrons and staff.
