Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Officer at an automotive location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming employees and guests while supporting security-related operations. You will manage access, verify credentials, monitor cameras and alarms, document visitor activity, and communicate concerns with professionalism. Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies at an automotive location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Staff the front desk to greet and direct visitors, employees, and vendors; manage sign-in and sign-out logs and issue visitor credentials per policy.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and restricted areas by verifying identification and authorizations, and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
  • Answer and route incoming calls, coordinate with site contacts for visitor approvals, and support front desk administrative tasks related to access control.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and completing detailed incident reports.
