This position requires driving responsibilities as you monitor assigned areas and interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and helping to direct individuals as needed within the location.
Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and communicating promptly with appropriate personnel.
Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
