As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, provide visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid are preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with established protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed.
  • Support access control procedures, including verifying identification and monitoring entry points as required by site policies.
  • Complete incident reports and daily activity logs accurately and in a timely manner.
