As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols across buildings, grounds, and event areas, maintaining a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will also operate a patrol vehicle per policy while responding to calls for service, assisting visitors, and documenting observations. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols, including supporting emergency response activities when directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of grounds, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with crowd flow during events, deliveries, and peak arrival and departure periods.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and/or local public agencies when needed.
Complete reports and activity logs, communicate observations through radio and/or phone, and document incidents according to post orders and government location requirements.
