As a Screener in a logistics and distribution setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with individuals onsite, provide excellent customer service, and use technology such as computers or tablets as part of your daily responsibilities. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Screen individuals, packages, and/or materials entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any irregularities.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel as part of daily screening and security-related functions.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken according to site requirements.
