As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a welcoming atmosphere, and deliver outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with tenants and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or property damage within the assigned area.
Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
Assist with access control procedures, including monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.
