This unarmed position offers the opportunity to interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to various situations with professionalism. Requirements

Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent is required.
One or more of the following is required: one or more years of law enforcement experience, or two or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or three or more years of security-related experience.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related breaches, or hazards encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required, following established protocols.
Document all activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.
