As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, respond to questions and service requests, and communicate clearly with site teams while documenting observations and activities. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout a technology-focused location, including interior spaces, common areas, loading areas, and the perimeter, noting irregularities and reporting them per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, documenting events, and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, helping to deter unauthorized entry by observing, verifying credentials when required, and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to supervisors and/or site stakeholders, and support any assigned monitoring of alarms and/or cameras per site procedures.
