About The Position

As a Security Guard - Entry Point Driver in Bradenton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for residents and guests. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor access points at the residential location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for residents and guests.
  • Verify the identity of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises, following site-specific procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting residents, visitors, and contractors with access control procedures and answering inquiries.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to observe for any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following emergency response protocols.
  • Remain alert to potential security-related risks and communicate any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
