As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver customer-focused service with integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state, supporting mobile patrol coverage as Allied Universal delivers through teamwork.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the building perimeter, parking areas, and critical infrastructure zones; working conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, observe for unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry through presence and reporting.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and escalate maintenance and/or operational concerns through the appropriate channels.
