Job Description As a Security Guard - Lobby Reception Driver in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a commercial real estate tower, you will be the first point of contact, greeting tenants and visitors, managing access control, monitoring cameras and alarms, answering phones, and documenting security-related activity with strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the commercial office property by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing guests to the appropriate destinations.
• Monitor lobby and front desk areas for unusual activity and report concerns to Allied Universal supervision and/or property management to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving calls for assistance, documenting details, and coordinating notifications per site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and tenant requests, and maintain required logs for access control, deliveries, and key control.
