Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Dispatch Driving Role in Marietta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at this aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, assist with dispatch operations, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. This is an armed and driving post. You will provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and support a culture built on teamwork, integrity, and care, all while upholding the high standards of Allied Universal.

Requirements

Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement military or security experience or possess a college degree.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be able to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch post, including radio, telephone, and electronic systems, to support security-related operations at the location.
Coordinate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to relay critical information and dispatch security-related resources as needed.
Assist in maintaining logs and records of incidents, communications, and dispatch activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Support emergency response activities by contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies.
Conduct regular checks of security-related systems and equipment within the dispatch area to help maintain operational readiness.
