As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and offering exceptional customer service and communication to everyone onsite. Requirements

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out screening procedures for personnel, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location, following site-specific policies and protocols.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and directing them as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address security-related needs and support the overall operation of the location.
