Security Guard - Distribution Entry Specialist
About The Position
As a Security Guard - Distribution Entry Specialist in Lenexa, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attention to detail. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, staying visible, and delivering exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. Requirements
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
- Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific procedures.
- Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with security-related inquiries and directions.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns.
- Report and document any security-related incidents, observations, or breaches according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
- Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including evacuation or lockdown procedures.
- Collaborate with on-site personnel and law enforcement as required to address security-related matters.
