As a Security Guard - Distribution Entry Control in Salina, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, manage access points, and interact with visitors and staff to provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering and exiting the premises to maintain site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and vendors with security-related inquiries and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations according to company guidelines.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment at the logistics and distribution location.
