As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a bustling retail distribution center, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your role will include monitoring access, managing visitor logs, and utilizing technology to support security-related operations, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach in a dynamic retail environment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or customers at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence and addressing inquiries as needed.
Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs according to site-specific policies.
Carry out security-related procedures and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and the location's guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when appropriate.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and emergency personnel as required.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Support emergency response activities by following established procedures and assisting with coordination when necessary.
