Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, where you'll help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and patrolling the premises. Requirements

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors with site-specific procedures and policies.
Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence at access points.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns.
Document and report all security-related incidents, irregularities, and activities according to company and client requirements.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed during emergency response situations.
Maintain knowledge of site-specific emergency procedures and assist in their implementation when appropriate.
