As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to calls for assistance, and provide clear, professional communication and customer service. Guided by Allied Universal values, you will stay agile and reliable, collaborate as a team, and act with integrity while delivering a positive presence on site.

Requirements

Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control access by verifying identification and visitor purpose, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests and vendors according to site procedures.
Monitor alarms, CCTV, and other security-related systems, document observations, and report unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disturbances and requesting emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of lobbies, offices, trading and support areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
