As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will engage with visitors and staff, respond to security-related events, and support access control protocols. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge system experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to established Allied Universal protocols.
• Work collaboratively with property management and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.
