As a Security Guard - Media Facility Patrol in Milford, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and assisting visitors as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related occurrences as directed by site procedures.
• Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions within the environment, adapting security-related practices as needed.
