As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for all visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible throughout the area, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as required, and helping to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any observed theft or property damage.
• Work collaboratively with store management and/or law enforcement when required to address incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
• Follow all site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and client leadership.
