Job Description As a Security Guard - Unarmed Walking Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flows, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, guests, and the site team while delivering customer-focused service. Requirements
- Have a minimum of 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and tenants by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate environment.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
- Monitor access points and building activity during rounds, assisting with visitor and contractor direction as needed and reporting access concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when required and completing accurate incident reports.
- Perform routine checks of doors, gates, and other key areas for signs of damage or unauthorized entry, and communicate maintenance and/or security-related concerns through the proper channels.
