As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, where you will interact professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff, while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and people-first culture.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the premises.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other site-specific activities as required by Allied Universal.
Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and/or employees to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
