As a Security Guard - Campus Bicycle Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to students, staff, and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor and report any suspicious behavior or conditions that may impact the well-being of students, staff, and visitors within the educational environment.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed to relay information about incidents or concerns.
Support access control procedures by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of activities, incidents, and observations during assigned shifts.
