As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will also interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments.
Monitor access points and screen individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain compliance with site-specific requirements.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during incidents and drills to support a coordinated response.
Remain alert to environmental and operational risks unique to chemical and petrochemical locations, reporting any concerns promptly.
