About The Position

As a Security Guard - Chemical Plant Driver in Wynnewood, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This role requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A law enforcement officer license is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points for authorized personnel and visitors.
Provide customer service by assisting employees and/or visitors with directions, information, and security-related inquiries.
Monitor security-related systems such as surveillance cameras and alarms to help to deter unauthorized activity within the chemical and petrochemical environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related risks.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities, incidents, and irregularities observed during assigned shifts.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, following established site-specific policies and procedures.
