About The Position

As a Security Guard - Battery Manufacturer in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor processing and directional support in accordance with site policies.
Support daily operations by communicating clearly with staff and/or guests, maintaining awareness of changing conditions, and following post orders for assigned areas and responsibilities.
