About The Position

As a Security Guard - Bank Patrol - Weekdays in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible within financial institution locations. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication, while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork in every interaction.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment.
Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
Collaborate with Allied Universal and client personnel to support site-specific security-related objectives and maintain open communication.
Follow post orders and written instructions specific to the financial institution location.
