About The Position

As a Security Guard - Auto Patrol Driver in Avon Lake, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication, supporting a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you conduct routine patrols. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the location.
Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and on-site management, adapting to the specific needs of the auto industry environment.
