Job Description As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol in Kamuela, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with visitors, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees with questions, directions, and general information about the location.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
