As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication as you support a secure environment in your assigned area. This is an armed post, requiring you to uphold the highest standards of professionalism as you work with a team that values integrity, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Hold a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for potential security-related concerns and report observations according to established procedures.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats within government facilities.
Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors while enforcing access control protocols.
Support Allied Universal leadership in implementing post orders and directives specific to government environments.
