Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Telecom Sector in Manassas, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will conduct routine armed patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the technology and telecommunications environment.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client protocols related to armed posts, including proper handling and storage of weapons.
