Join Allied Universal as an Armed Residential Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol a residential location, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Must possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card.
- Must have 6 months or more of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with residents, property staff, and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations, while helping to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a professional presence, following post orders, and handling assigned duties with sound judgment in a residential location.
