As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

A minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or a college degree is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any security-related concerns according to established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and/or incidents.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and law enforcement as needed.
Complete incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal policies.
