As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver Role in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations prior to employment.

  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and document observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Support public-facing operations by assisting visitors, employees, and/or contractors with directions, information, and incident reporting while maintaining a professional presence.
