Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Medical Facility in Fayetteville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise in a healthcare setting.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards encountered during patrols.
Assist hospital staff and law enforcement as needed with security-related matters, always maintaining professionalism and discretion.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to medical emergencies and/or disturbances, following established protocols and procedures.
