Requirements

• Must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent and must be able to provide proof.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and/or the public as appropriate.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions within the location while performing patrols.
