As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with the public, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
Assist with the enforcement of location-specific rules and regulations.
Document and communicate any incidents, observations, and/or issues as required by site protocols.
